"Okay then."

Sam walks away with the research file in his hand. He's heading back to his office and is about to turn the corner, when he hears his name followed by many girlish giggles.

"Oh I know! Sam does have the cutest butt,"

"Oh yeah Ainsley, well I've watched him change in his office through his blinds in his office! I know! Anyways, he totally works out, and has the most amazing abs I've ever seen!"

"God Cathy! You are soooo lucky. I'm so jealous. I wish I were his assistant so I get some sneak peaks. Josh is not exactly wonderful to look at...Josh always wants me to get him coffee, which I will never do, but if Sam asked, I would not say no..."

"And he smells so great. Bonnie and I always pass by him in the halls so we can bump into him and get a whiff of his cologne."

"Ginger! Shhhh. I don't want people knowing that!"

"Oh girl! You think you are the only one who does that? Think again."

"Wow Claudia Jean. I didn't know you were like that! Anyways, back to Sam's butt..."

"Yeah. I'm with Ainsley. Let's talk about Sam's butt some more."

"Right on Bonnie!"

"DONNA!" comes a yell from the direction of Josh's office.

"Oh no. Well, bye you guys. See you in the mess."

Donna leaves, turns the corner, and bumps into Sam on accident. He backs away, as though afraid. He's blushing from his head down to his toes. Donna has the feeling she knows why.

"Um...Hi Sam...er...what are you doing hiding behind corners. People will think you were...um...eavesdropping...you weren't, were you?"

"Sorry Donna, no time to talk...I gotta go...to...to...my...office, right...bye"

Sam brushes by her and walks toward his office. He stops and sees C.J., Ainsley, Cathy, Bonnie, and Ginger, and they abruptly stop talking.

There is a slight pause, and then an outburst of uncontrolled giggling. They all dispatch and head to their own boss's offices. He notices Cathy is smiling at him kind of funny.

"Um...hi Cathy...bye."

He heads into his office and slumps into his chair. Do they really think that? I guess it's kind of a good thing. Sam doesn't think he will feel the same way to any of the female staffers of the west wing.... ever again.
