She still couldn't believe she was going to Paris. It had always been her dream destination even more than Hawaii so when her Great Uncle died and left her a fair amount of money in his will, she'd jumped at the chance to visit the romance capital of the world. It was really just a shame that she was going there alone. Sam had been planning to go with her but at the last minute problems had arose with the education bill that he and Josh had spent months putting together, so he had insisted she go without him and have a good time.
Opening her eyes she looked around at the other passengers and her eyes widened in shock.

Sam sat down in his seat next to Donna. She had her eyes closed and hadn't noticed him getting onto the plane and sitting down. He hadn't been lying to her when he'd said that he wouldn't be able to make the trip because of the education bill, but at the last minute Toby had volunteered to help Josh with the bill so that Sam could accompany Donna. So he'd decided to surprise her.
He watched as Donna opened her eyes, turned her head and looked straight at him.

Donna looked at Sam for a minute before recovered enough from her shock to talk. "What are you doing here?"
Sam smiled slightly and leaned over to kiss her softly on the cheek. "Toby volunteered to finish the bill with Josh so that I could come with you and so I figured I'd surprise you."
"Well, I'm defiantly surprised! I thought I was gonna be walking around Paris on my own... Although I could of got a lot of shopping done!"
"You still can, but now you won't be alone." Donna nodded and they sat in silence for the next few minutes as the last few passengers boarded the plane and found their seats before the plane began to move down the runaway and eventually took off.
It was a pretty uneventful flight with Donna's research being proved right in that there wasn't much turbulence. Half way through the flight she fell asleep with her head on Sams shoulder so he wrapped his arm around her shoulders pulling her closer to him. It reminded him so much of that Air Force one flight in which most of the senior staff realized that they felt something for each other.
About 10 minutes before landing Sam gently woke Donna up so that she had time to get herself ready for disembarking the plane. Running a brush through her hair Donna tried to make her self look a little more presentable before Sam told her that she looked beautiful.
20 minutes later they were walking towards the baggage claim where they had to wait for a few minutes in which, Donna started to worry. "Sam? Did you organize somebody from the hotel to collect us? Because it didn't even occur to me to arrange something."
Sam smiled slightly and wrapped an arm around Donna's waist before replying. "We are being driven to the Moonlight hotel by a chauffer driven limousine where you will be pampered for the rest of the day, before we go out for dinner tonight at one of the most expensive restaurants I could find." Looking at Donna's shocked face he shrugged and said, "I thought of most things."
Donna smiled slightly as they grabbed their bags
before walking through security with no problems
before making their way to the limo. Sliding in she
waited until Sam sat down before leaning back against
him and letting him wrap his arm around her shoulders.
This was going to be the best vacation ever!
